island view. the lake house.
the name. “a good name is to be chosen over great riches.” naming the lake house was monumental, however, selecting the name was simple. on our first visit, we walked down to the dock and were taken aback by the incredible view of a nature haven known commonly at lake sinclair as optimist island. for us, to view the island on our first visit was a god-wink. we knew the location was perfect.
the location. each family member had a special request when looking for our home at the lake. however, none were more important than proximity to golf and to family. oh and 93,000 of our closest friends on saturdays in the fall in athens.
history. our family history spans generations who have grown up on lake sinclair learning to ski, fishing for bass and catfish and spending holidays. now we also enjoy football games in athens and hours on the golf course. island view affords us and our guest options to do what matters – spend time together.
